body attachment order under civil

my husband is ignoring and avoiding a body attachment order by our divorce judge. what will happen to him

Well in simple terms a body attachment order is ordering the county sheriff to lock him up and bring him to court. I'd need to know more about the specifics of your situation...generally body attachment orders arise either due to missed court dates or if someone has actually already been held in contempt of court. So he may just be brought to court to deal with substantive matters or if he's been found in contempt for say not paying child support, there's generally some monetary bond attached to the order that he'd need to pay before he'd get out of jail.

I can't say when he'll get picked up. The aggressiveness which the sheriff's office pursues these varies greatly. If he's outside the county it may take a while if ever. If he's in the county the easy way is if he comes to court or gets a traffic ticket or the like. I'd suggest you communicate with the sheriff if you know where he is regularly.
