if I cheated on my husband can he get custody of our child when we get a divorce.

The custodial decision is incapable for easy explanation. The fact that you "cheated" does not give enough information. The age(s) of the child(ren), their knowledge of the "cheating," the effect of that act on them, the quality of your relationship with the children; and on the other hand your husband's relationship with the children are factors. If you want a simple answer, yes he could get custody, but he also could not get custody. Cheating itself does not guaranty you losing custody. |
