Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I want to get custody of my son. He currently lives with his mother, but she is very sick (leukemia) and is unable to take care of any of her five children. My son (who is the oldest of her children) ends up taking care of all her kids, and he is eleven. She is far too sick to take care of the kids. Between having a dying mother and four siblings who scream at him because he is trying to do all the things a parent would do, this is having a tremendous effect on him and when he is with her, he is constantly stressed and angry. I know this isn't much information, but would I have a case? Thank you.
