Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

The father of my child is now married to a military employee. Can our child be put on her military health insurance? Also are their incomes joint as far as me receiving child support?

Probably can be added. No her income can not be used unless he is sitting on his butt and not working.

When you say military employee, I assume you mean she is a member of the armed forces and NOT a civilian employee. If a civilian employee, there is no "military insurance" and even as a member of the armed forces there is no "military insurance" which is similar to insurance in the civilian world. Dependents of members of the armed forces get a military identification card, which allows them entry onto the military installation, the post or base exchange, the commissary and the hospital on the army post, air force, navy or marine base. It is at the hospital on post or base that they get the health care. So to get the ID card, the child has to be a dependent of the member of the armed forces.
