Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

If my new husband signs over custody to his childs mother because the mother doesnt want the father apart of the childs life, is the father still obligated to pay child support??

Absolutely. Who cares what the mother wants, parenting time is for the child, not the parents. As to support, The child will still want to eat and wear clothes after the mother has full custody right? Side note: a man who wants to be a deadbeat dad for a prior child will probably end up a dead beat dad for any future children with you as well.
