I lived with my sister for a few months when I moved out I left a 50in television and a washer and dryer she will not let me get my things what can I do

As long as you can prove ownership (sales slip....) you can have an attorney demand they be returned to you, and if that doesn't work (or if you want to file suit immediately) file suit for "replevin". Watch out; she may claim you owe her rent and is taking these things in trade.

I can understand your setting up a 50" TV while you were staying at her house but I can't understand while you would install a washer and dryer. It sounds to me like these were gifts and after you moved out you decided that you wanted them back. Also you don't say how long after you moved out that you may a demand for these items or why you didn't take them with you at the time you moved. You can do what the attorney above states or you can walk away. Total value is probably less than $1000.00 and you would be paying an attorney a great deal more to recover the items.
