If you are in Cook county, and you have not received a completed Disclosure Disclosure Statement with 2 yars tax returns and three current pay stubs (or one with YTD figures), then you can serve an objection to the discovery. If you have received those documents, if you fail to answer the Interrogatories and production request, you are subjecting yourself to eventual sanctions, such as a monetary sanction, striking your pleadings, and being barred from testifying on the matters touched by the interrogatories and production- such as financial issues. Serious matters. Not to be ignored.

The short answer is "YES". The better answer is "HIRE AN ATTORNEY". Obviously you are in litigation and do not know or appreciate the importance of following the rules. Great example of why people should not represent themselves. If you do have an attorney, you should not be seeking legal advice on this website. You should consult with your attorney. Would you perform surgery on yourself?
