Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Hello I am resident of Chicago,IL I want to know if there is a limit on how long you have to enforce a child support order that was put in place over 20years ago if the parent ordered to pay was incarcerated. Which means they couldn't pay at that time however now they are free so they would be able to pay.

A court Order is valid until modified or vacated by the Court. You can enforce the Order regardless of when it was entered. To discuss further, I can be reached at 312-372-5600.
