Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I'm thinking about moving to Nevada from IL.My ex-wife has custody of my 3 oldest daughters.I have a uncle that moved to IL from Arizona and his 2 kids was with their mother in Arizona and she had full custody. He went out there to visit his kids and when he left there he took his kids without their mother knowing and came back to IL and went to court for full custody and she had to come to IL to fight it and never showed up so he got it by default. So my question is would the same thing happen if i was to take my 3 older kids to Nevada from IL and fight for full custody.Would she have to come there to fight for them?

I do not know Nevada law, but removing the kids without a court order in IL would be improper and illegal.
