unmarried father

My ex and I have a seven month old. She doesn't allow me to see him at all. Now she is filing for child-support. She has no education and no job. Is it possible for me to obtain custody of my son based on the fact that I have a job and own a home? I

Yes and No. The only thing that the court looks at is the best interest of the child. living arrangements play a part, but the court will change the child's living arrangements for the reasons you mention. Plus I would need to know if the custody order in effect is temporary or permanent.
