Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Do you think me and my wife would have a hard time getting custody of my 3 year old grandson . his father lives with us . the baby mother is living with another man . now she is still not married and going to have a baby by this other man .this is not a life for my grandson . he stay at my house 3 week a month. i work out of the house . do you think that i have a case

Unfortunately not unless both parents are willing to allow you to be appointed the child's guardian and since your son lives with you, it is the same as the child living with him.
