Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

There was a pending dissolution of marriage; then husband dies; the moment he died the court --domestic relations--lost jurisdiction. Is that correct?

If that is correct, then any ruling made by domestic relations judge was dismissed or invalid; correct?
