Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

I am a victim of people abusing their authority simply because I wasn't to their liking. I was a 4.0 student and had no problems. One day I went to sign up for new classes but stop by the book store to drop off my application for the Stigma Delta ceremony. The store clerk was acting very unprofessional and rude towards me. I asked her why she was being rude. She then went on to say she wasn't sellinTg me anything and that I needed to leave. I was dumbfounded and shocked; please keep in mind I was not rude or raised my voice at any time. She called a security to have me kicked out.

Maybe the clerk didn't like people who have "Stigma." Whatever reason she may have had, if she felt it was necessary to call security and she did and they removed you, in all liklihood, the clerk was within her rights to refuse you service, i.e., no shoes, no shirt, no service. Since you are not saying where this happened, when it happened, or why it happened, it is not possible to provide you with an answer. Better luck next time.
