Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois

Two years ago I was introduced to a filipina. She came across as really nice and was highly recomended. Here two years later I find out that she can't get a job because she dosen't have a green card. she talked me out of waiting to get married for two years so I could collect my late wife's disability. in addition to that I filed a joint tax return with her only to find out that she owes the IRS over $250,000 from some insurance business she was involved in before she met me. When I was talking to a immigration specialist about her he mentioned that there are records that may indicate that she may still be married to another person! my question is, how hard would it be to reverse all of this and how much would it cost?
