Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

Hello,

I had a brain aneurysm 9 months ago. I am still off work and in therapy. I still get my health insurance. My question; Can my employer fired me after I get back to work? I am afraid they will find an excuse to do so.

Your employer can fire you at any time with or without cause unless the termination does not violate an agreement or a law.
