Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
i have lived with my mother in law for about 8 years, She is an invalid, i take care of her, prepare food, move wheelchair, clean house when necessary etc. She keeps threatening me with throwing me out. I have control of most of the house including cooking/kitchen facilities. I recieve mail, and this is the address on my state Identification (Illinois). Can she just throw me out or have me removed by law enforcement (Chicago P.D.), or does she need to give notice and go through the court?

She will have to go through the eviction process which begans wirh the proper written notice.
