Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
I have an ex tenant threatening me through via txt demanding his full deposit back. I have sent a certified letter explaining why he owns me more than his security deposit since he never paid the last month of rent. Is there a way I can file a harrasment with the police since I feel that bh him saying that I should deal with the consequences if I don't return his money is a threat for me and my family.

Why not block his texts? If he then continues attempting to contact you, you could call the police.
