Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois

Me and my wife own a rental property, our tenant informed us she was being sued for her dog biting the mailman. On the rental agreement she signed it states no pets allowed. We are listed as property owners on the law suit. Do we need to get a lawer????
