Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Illinois

My stepfather was involved in a wrongful death i have four other sibling i am not biologicaly his daughter, however he left my mother over is life insurance policy and i am listed as his daughter on the policy, my question in am i entitled to be on the wrongful dealth lawsuit
