Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

ingestion of scotchgard product

15 years ago I purchased scotchgard to protect my new car's fabric. I followed the instructions properly. However, after getting into the car later, I became violently ill and have had occassional stomach problems since then. Is there a statute of limitations for a company selling a harmful product.

the company is 3-M

Re: ingestion of scotchgard product

Let me get this straight. FIFTEEN years ago you purchased Scotchguard, and just now you are asking if you can sue? Do you have some medical/scientific proof that Scotchguard caused some illness or permanent medical damgage to you? Are your damages sufficient to justify the cost (and risk) of litigation? Feel free to respond by posting additional info on the LawGuru.com bulletin board.
