Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Wrongful Death

My brother suddenly died unexpectantly. They found a prescription drug in his toxicology report that he had no prescrition for but the person he was with all day uses it on a regular basis. If he gave it to my brother is there anything we as a family can do?

Re: Wrongful Death

If you are concerned that the person intentionally or recklessly gave the drug to your brother then he could be criminally liable for anything from aggravated assault to murder. You can contact the States Attorney (or the police) to talk about your options in that regard.

You may also be able to file a civil suit for wrongful death. Please feel free to give us a call if you want to talk about your case in more detail.
