Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

get out of a real estate contract

I entered into a real estate contract in Missouri on December 13, 2005 to buy a house. The acceptance deadline on the contract is Nov. 14, 2000. This must be a typo that I did not see at the time of signing. Do I have three legal days to get out of this contract? Today's date is Nov. 15, 2005

Re: get out of a real estate contract

Hello. In my opinion, the real estate contract

for the purchase of the home is void because of

this typographical error 5 years too early. Notify the seller in writing immediately. Demand

the return of any earnest money. I will be happy

to answer any additional questions that you might

have.
