Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

My husband and I did a quick claim deed, putting the house in my name only, because we are seperated. If we get back together, can we quick claim the house back into our name together, or can I will the house to him after death?

There are a number of ways to accomplish what you are proposing. It would be best to consult with a real estate attorney to determine which is best in your particular circumstance, and to ensure the document is prepared correctly. By the way, it is quit claim, not quick. They are the same speed as other deeds.
