If a property was quitclaimed from one party to another, can it be quit claimed back to the original grantor?

Sure, and then back again, and again. I have seen some properties change hands among three or four people so many times that it makes me think it was part of their poker winnings.

Real Estate can be quitclaimed to anyone since the owner may in most cases do what s/he wants with it. But be careful of the tax consequences. The mechanics of it are easy, the implications are more complicated.
