1 Answer from Attorneys

Your broker can't hire any attorney for you. ONLY YOU CAN. The most the broker can do is give you a few names of attorney, but ultimately the choice is yours. You should immediately contact the attorney and decide if you want a relationship with him or her. When you establish that relationship, you can tell your broker. Until then, the broker should NOT put that attorney's name into any offer you might want to make on any property. If your broker tells you otherwise, it may be time to talk to the broker's managing broker (or owner of the brokerage).
