Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Illinois

Fired for accusations of sexual harassment

My boyfriend was fired for accusations of sexual harassment. He was fired on the spot before any investigation had been done. Can someone be fired for accusations of sexual harassment? Don't the accused have rights just like the accusers?
