Re: harassment by police officer

Unfortunately, this is not sexual harassment in the workplace. What the sexual harassment laws in the workplace intends to protect are situations involving a co-worker or someone in management sexually harassing you. In this case it is neither a co-worker nor someone in management. In any event, your manager did take some form of action. You may be able to file some form of harassment under a different law but not under Title VII, the sexual harassment laws.
