If a minor is threatened to have sex with an 18 year old and both are in high school, what are the consequences?

Hello. The 18 year old can be charged with statutory rape which is a very serious crime. The 18 year old can be prosecuted under an extended provision of the Illinois statute. That time period is 20 years after the victim reaches the age of 18.
