Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

Driving Under the Age in Illinois

I would like to know if my licence is suspended until im 18. I was arrested with driving without a licence or permit last Feburary, went to court and just paid a 80 dollar fine. They never told me my licence was suspended the judge just told me to pay the fine. If it is suspended is there any way that i will be able to contest it when i go to get my licence. I completed my driving ed cource and recived a letter saying it was in place of my ''Blue Slip'' and it told me what to take when i go and get my licence. Im not sure if they will let me when i go to get it.

Re: Driving Under the Age in Illinois

It will be entirely up to the Office of the Secretary of State to determine whether you will receive a driver's license. If you are denied,

there is a possibility that you will be entitled to an administrative hearing. If you are denied, you should retain a lawyer to attempt to

help you. Will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
