Re: driving on a suspended license

If you are convicted of driving while your license is suspended or revoked as a result of a DUI the minimum sentence is 10 days jail or 30 days community service. The real issue is why were you stopped? The police need to have a reasonable belief that you commited an offense before stopping you. Did you get anyother tickets?

Call if you would like to discuss.

Re: driving on a suspended license

Driving on a suspended license is a Class A misdemeanor A with the potential penalty of up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $2500.00. This is very serious, especially when the suspension is DUI related. Also there may be extensions of the suspension period for driving during the suspension. It is a serious and complex matter that you should have an attorney for representation. I can be reached at my e-mail for further consultation.
