Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

traffic ticket

I received a ticket for going 20 miles over the speed limit 75 in a 55. This was two years ago and I just forgot about it. I was reminded about it recently so how much money will I need to bring with me and am I going to go to Jail?

Re: traffic ticket

How much money you need to bring with you depends on the county and the judge you are before. I doubt if you are going to jail for a speeding ticket. Call ahead of time. Maybe you can mail in the fine. If you do that, understand that you will receive a conviction.
