Legal Question in Veterans Law in Illinois

VA Denial

This is in regards to my denial of VA disability increase. I am currently receiving 40% disability I was a M.P. injured in Korea while trying to detain a soldier who was attacking another person. Two more M.P.s showed up to help. We all ended up falling into an open concrete sewer canal with me under everyone. I ended up breaking my foot, ankle, and also injured my back and upper leg. I put in a claim for individual unemployability because it is very difficult driving because it is my right leg and impossible to put pressure on my right side and use of my right foot. It is very difficult to sit and stand because of the severe pain and discomfort. Now I am having problem bending over, because when I get up I get a severe jolt of pain in my hip. When walking I cannot bend my right foot because of the pain. I take pain medication which has only minimal effect, because I have Hepatitis C (which I possible was infected when I was in the service) and can only take certain medications. So being in so much pain it has made my depression worse and life unbearable.
