Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
my sister has got married in 3 yrs back and she got a baby. My brother in law was a contract veternian assistant.after my sis got a baby he has taken another marriage..we went to police station and took a case on him then he said to the police authority that he will be stays with my sis only..after few days gone again he is staying at that girl(second married one)..and he is saying that he will be take care of both...is the Indian govt allows two wife's to one person.? If not what type of legal proceedings shall we take? ... please help us my family is a poor family and we don't know any legal proceedings

Indian law does not allow it if your brother in law is not a Muslim. You can lodge fir with the police station.
