Legal Question in Banking Law in India

I have my dues in Credit Card (ICICI BANK) I was approched by agents to settlement of the account. which was the good option for settlement of my card . should i beleave in their words or I will go to court for the same.

My friend Ill suggest you to have settlement only with the Bank Officials. DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE DUES SETTLEMENT/CLEARANCE LETTER DULY SIGNED AND STAMPED ON THE LETTER PAD FROM BANK.
