payment of travelling expenses by previous employer

I worked for a pvt sector bank for 10 years and left the bank and now working with some other bank. I received a Summon from CBI to attend the court as official witness on behalf of my previous employer in connection with one account opend in my period when i was working with my previous employer. Two times I attended the court and submitted Travelling bill to my previous employer which was sanctioned. Now third bill was rejected by them and asked me to claim the amount from CBI or petitioner in the case (Some other nationalised bank.

In this regard , I have taken up the matte with CMD of previous employer and they also refused to pay the amount.

Kindly advice me how can i get the

travelling expenses

such expenses are given by court generally where u were called and u should have claimed from there. if you have to go there again then tell the court that you were not given the expenses last time and keep that notice with you on which u were called.

you can file application with Court to get the bhatta from prosecution . The Court would direct such prosecution to pay your incurred expenses obvioulsy at Court rates whcih are prescribed not at bank rate whcih you might have received earlier

When in a case any witness is being called by the state then his expenses are also being paid by the state,so you submit your bill to trial court along with an application praying for payment of travelling expenses.

You have to apply to the court for reimbursement of travelling expenses as it is the duty of court to ensure payment of batta for any witness who is summoned by it.

You may apply to the court and get an order for repayment from state.
