Legal Question

i bought a land from a sc person in 1979 at that time i was working in army in 2004 the sc person changed the patta name and transfered to his wife name and now he is saying that the property is belongs to him bcoz the land is DC, so wat is procedure to recover the land,i had the original document pls help
