Daughters Childrens rights

Our grand father had ancestral and self acuired lands.

Before his death he gave all the property to his sons and nothing was given to the daughters.

Now our uncles are selling the lands which goes in crores now and enjoying without giving any thing to my mother and aunts.

Can we claim propety in our grand fathers property as his grand childrens.

Prior to 2005, Daughter's did not had right in the ancestral property. Nor a daughter married prior to 2005 could claim any right in ancestral property belonging to her father.

So neither your mother nor you could assert any right in the property belonging to your grand father.

Yes, you may be entitled to your share; and may claim the same by filing a civil suit in the local courts. It may be better to engage a lawyer for pursuing your remedy.
