Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Right of married daughters regarding huf property

In 1940 my paternal grand father acquired some property from his own funds. In 1969 he created an HUF in which my father and my paternal uncle were coparceners and he was the Karta. In 1974 the huf was splitup and my father received his share from the erstwhile huf property.Meanwhile one sister of mine had been married in 1969 and the other was married off in 1972.My father as karta and myself as coparcener had been managing this property since 1974.A son was born to me in 2000 and thereafter my father and I agreed upon an oral partion of this huf property. Now both my sisters are claiming a share from this property. What is the legal position?

Re: Right of married daughters regarding huf property

Since the property was inherited from your grandfather, your sisters may have an equal share with you on partition.
