can i put a injunction on somebody's marriage because that person had promised me to marry and now is marrying some other one?

marriage is social contract. you can not get remedy from court. court can not enforce any social agreements i.e. marriage promises. however you can get compensation for loss of your pains from the court of law..but you can't get marry with that person.

If you had consented to sex on such a promise and thereafter the person is trying to marry some one else, then you can file police complaint to arrest that person.
