about neibourhood basement construction
our neibourhood is a plain plot now ... the new neibour wants to make basement .........as the common wall is already weak as that is very old leading to a threat to our building ......is there any rule against it..???? or wat we can do...???

Tell them officially in written words to take precaution against any such perils.
For construction of any new building or making alteration to a existing building permisison of municiapl authority or town planning authority is required. One can take objection against grant of any such permission.
