Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

In a 498A case filled at Kolkata offence been happened at Pune, does the Kolkata Court has the right for Jurisdiction? Can the case be transferred to Pune court as we have no belief in Kolkata Court... Please provide your valuable suggestion ASAP

unless you send all the details regarding the offence and contents of FIR, it cannot be suggested whether a petition for transfer of case can be filed in the Supreme Court or you have to attend the hearings in Kol only.

At the initial stages, one need to see allegations made in FIR and decide.

If from FIR itself it is evident that Kolkata police / court have no jurisdiction, then you may agitate the issue.
