Section 403 & 406 of IPC

One of our partner has run away with certain amount by withdrawing the money from bank by signing the cheque. What are the remedies available to other partners & action required to be taken to protect themselves & recover money from him

a criminal complaint can be for offence of cheating and forgery and a civil suit for recovery of the amount can also be filed.

If that partner was the person authorised by firm to operate bank account, then only a Civil Remedy is available.
