Unwanted calls on mobile from some unkown

If a girl receive unwanted/ blanks calls and SMS from some unknown on her mobile and it's a pain for her and she feels physically insequire due to this then what are the steps she can take to stop and avoid this. Please suggest understanding the senstivity of matter.

You can go to police and lodge a complaint. This appears to be a cognisable offence and police will be able to register an offence under Information Technology Act and proceed.

The contents of the sms and the mobile calls are absolutely important to come to a conclusion whether a criminal case can be filed or not . The question is silent on the fact whether any harassment has been caused by such sms/phone call

She can simply call her mobile service operator to block all incoming SMSs. Alternatively she can report the matter to the local police station.
