Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

I am living in a house for past 30 years which was owned by my father. Now, one of my neighbour threaten me stating that the place was a public road 40 years back, but we had all the correct land documents. Is there any chance that municipality will take back the land?

in case you in possession for more than 30 years, it is barred by limitation. however, you may consult the local lawyer.

limitation period of thirty years runs against the government. but in any event, you have the documents.
