Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India

I am planning to launch a board game in India comprising of cards with cricketers's true & fair data on them along with their names, without any photograph.

Do I require any prior permission from BCCI/players?

Moreover, in case, I make little modifications in their names, for example, instead of using Rahul Dravid, I write Rahul David/Rahul Dravia or so, would I be still liable for prior permission??

Please advise.
