Legal Question in Investment Law in India

I have invested Rs. 25000/- in LIC Market Plus (single premium) policy in Jan, 2007. At that time, I was allocated 2215.129 units. When I check the same in LIC web site, I found, there is only 2070.683 units in my policy account. That means total 2215.129 - 2070.683 = 144.446 units consumed by the LIC in 5 and half years of time.

On the otherhand, I have not found such deduction from unit allocated to ULIP policies issued by other insurance company.

Is it the rule in LIC India, to consume the basic units allocated?
