Legal Question in Legal Ethics in India

Hello,

I am based in India. An order is being released on a vendor for supplying services. Prior to this, the was an agreement with with the same vendor with a valid upto date on the agreement.

The new purchase order references the same earlier agreement and has a clause which reads as "Please refer to our earlier contract dated xx/xx/xx for all terms and conditions.

I have a concern that referencing a document / agreement that has already expired ( validity date) is of no use and has no legal binding as well.

Warm regards

Akash

the agreement is binding on you even if the same has expired as the reference is deemed to be in continuty of the agreement.

as the reference is given to earlier contract, the same is valid for 3 years.
