hello in 1984 my father fills the form for a flat in apartment.while filling form my father puts my granmother nominee. at that time he was unmarried,there is no registry of our flat. my father said to me that after marriage nominee name automatically changes to my mother. i wants to ask is this true, or we we have to change the nominee name from my grandmother to my mother

mr. grover is right. One can and in your case your father, if he so desires, may change the nomination.

Your father only can change the name of the nominee and no one else. But nominee job is like manager to take care of the property for legal heirs of the person concern ie. your father and that too in his absence.
