Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I bought a site and got it registered last week at sub registrar office.

I have recevied the Encumbrance certificate (EC) as well.

But I realized that there is a mistake in the direction of the dimentions mentioned. What is the procedure to rectify the same.

I understand that I will have to go for a rectification deed. Is it a new sale deed and the registration process should be repeated or correction will be made on the existing sale deed with sub registrar's signature. Do I need to apply for it or I can just walk-in to the sub registrar office along with the seller and get it corrected. Also how will I get it corrected on EC and khata certificate.
