Stamp duty refund fees

Franking towards stamp duty is done for 84660 Rs but the document is not signed. Now I want refund of stamp duty, so what is the penalty and time required for refund by the stamp office

Refund is possible within six months from date of purchase/franking.

You have to follow procedure prescribed. Time required is generally one to two months. There is no penalty, but some administrative charges are deducted.
